Barrie Experiencing Longest Stretch of Warm Weather in 20 Years

Today marks the City of Barrie’s 73rd consecutive day with a maximum temperature above 20 degrees Celsius, making it the longest stretch of warm weather in more than 20 years.
Reddit user u/YOW-weather-records makes note of this on the Barrie subreddit, stating records show we had a longer stretch of warm weather back in June to August of 91, at 79 days.
This latest spate is the fourth longest stretch of warm weather, with records dating back to 1866.
