Barrie Police Seeking Truck Thief

Taken From Donut Shop On Tiffin Street

A cup of coffee appears to have cost a man his pick-up truck.

Barrie Police say while he was in the Country Style at 131 Tiffin Street the evening of September 20 another man hopped in his truck and drove off. Later that night, the suspect and vehicle were seen at the Petro Canada station at 360 Bayfield Street.

The suspect is described as:

  • Male
  • White
  • Medium build
  • Wearing a black baseball hat, a blue hooded sweatshirt and light coloured blue jeans

Investigating officers are asking the public for assistance in locating the truck and identifying the suspect.

The truck is described as:

  • 2001 GMC Sierra
  • Red
  • Single Cab
  • Licence Plate AS59986
  • Equipped with a black back rack with yellow dome lights attached to the box, an electric lift gate and various tools
