Beeton man hurt in motorcycle crash on Highway 400

Airlifted to hospital in Toronto

A 62-year-old Beeton man was airlifted to a Toronto hospital after a collision during the Sunday homebound cottage rush.

It happened around 12:30 on the southbound 400 south of Innisfil Beach Road.

The 400 in both directions was closed for the airlift and investigation.

The Ornge Ambulance was called to Innisfil twice last week, to collisions on the 9th Line, in which six people were injured; and a single vehicle collision on Sideroad 10. A 24-year-old Thornton man suffered serious injuries in that crash.

A man was killed and a woman taken to hospital in Toronto after a crash Saturday on Highway 12 at Plum Point Road in Ramara Township.
