Bombers Gearing Up For Summer

Bombers set to open the Junior 'C' Lacrosse campaign Saturday May 11th

The Barrie Bombers are forming their roster with less than two weeks until the season opener against the Fergus Thistles.

Wyatt King

King, a graduate of Barrie Minor Lacrosse, returns to the Bombers crease for his third season.

Bo & Ty Steele

Older brother Bo is entering his final year of junior and was the team’s top scorer in 2017. He finished second in team scoring last year behind younger brother Ty, who was named the 2018 Most Sportsmanlike Player in the East Division

Hunter Dupee, David Rea, Josh McCreith

Dupee and Rea have been with the team since its 2015 arrival in Barrie, will play out their final seasons of junior in blue & white.

McCreith, who has been with the team since 2016, is also headed into his final season in Junior Lacrosse.

Carson Dunec

Dunec returns for his fourth season with the Bombers. He was an Alternate Captain in 2018, appearing in 39 consecutive games, a streak dating back to June 2016.

Dalton King, William Lowe, Ryan Michalchuk and Luke West

King collected 13 points in his rookie season last summer.

Jacob Booth

Booth, a graduate of Innisfil and Barrie Minor Lacrosse, was the leading goalscorer among Bombers’ defencemen last season with 11 goals in 15 games.

Cole Harrison

Harrison smashed team records for rookie goals and points last year. He finished tied for first on the team in goals (26) and second in points (42).

Ryley Ruff

Ruff is coming off a career year, finishing third on the team in assists with 21 along with 7 goals.

The Bombers also inked Barrie Minor Lacrosse graduates Josh Coughlin and Kalib Anglin-Ramm for the 2019 season.
