Two Bradford men were given prison terms Wednesday for their roles in the armed hold-ups of five pharmacies. The robberies happened between 2016-17 in Bradford and York Region.
Robert Collings, 28, was given a 10-year sentence for robbery and drug offences, while 23-year-old Cole Boardman was sentenced to a three and half year prison term for the same offences.
In October 2016, South Simcoe Police investigated two Bradford pharmacy store robberies. Two suspects were linked to further pharmacy store robberies in York Region.
In January 2017, two Bradford men were arrested and search warrants were executed at a pair of homes, netting police weapons, cash and a large quantity of drugs, including fentanyl patches, heroin and cocaine.
