Charges Against A Suspect in Downtown Barrie Beating

The suspect gave himself up to police

A man who was wanted for the alleged beating of another person in downtown Barrie last month has surrendered and is now up on charges.

Police say the incident happened in the wee hours of November 10 on Dunlop Street west of Owen Street.

At the time, investigators said the alleged attacker was with a group of three people.

The 29 year old suspect is charged with assault causing bodily harm.
