City of Orillia eases restrictions for property maintenance services,and will re-open landfill

Orillia waste diversion site will re-open May 4th for essential loads

Starting today, the City of Orillia is loosening some restrictions for property and lawn maintenance companies.

Work that addresses potential health, safety, and sanitation can begin for services including lawn cutting, dethatching, rolling, clearing the yard and garden debris, fertilization and aeration. Work must be done while adhering to strict safety protocols, such as physical distancing. In addition, residents can hire companies to open or maintain existing pools, so that stagnant and standing water can be removed,

Meanwhile, the city will be re-opening its landfill next week. It will be open starting May 4th for essential loads only. Only debit or credit will be accepted. No cash.
