County of Simcoe asking local businesses to fill out phase two of COVID-19 economic impact survey

Over 800 businesses participated in Phase One

The County of Simcoe has finished off one batch of business impact surveys, and are looking for folks to participate in phase two.

The County’s Economic Development Office conducted a business impact survey, with the assistance of the Cities of Barrie and Orillia, from March 19th to April 9th, and received 811 responses. The feedback from those area businesses has been analyzed, with an action plan developed as a result. The Phase One survey results are available here.

More local businesses are being asked to get on board the second phase, so the county can find out how to better support the local economy. Participants can fill out the survey here, with a deadline for submissions on May 8th.
