Early Morning Armed Robbery In South Barrie

One Had a Backpack, The Other A Weapon, According to Police

Two men are being sought following a south Barrie hold up.

The pair are accused of going into a gas bar at Mapleview and Bayview around 2:45 Monday morning, armed with an undisclosed weapon, to make demands for cash. One held the weapon, according to police, the other a backpack.

Both ran off, eastbound on Mapleview. The suspects are described as:

Suspect #1

  • Male, white
  • Approximately 5’8” – 5’10” tall
  • 20-25 years old
  • Slim build
  • Short dirty blond hair
  • Wearing a dark grey long-sleeved shirt with a black hood, a dark bandana with white design, black jogging pants and a thin latex glove on his left hand
  • Carried a black/grey/purple backpack
  • The suspect was not wearing shoes and had only black socks on his feet.

Suspect #2

  • Male, white
  • Approximately 5′-8″ – 5′-10″ tall
  • Aged 20-25 years
  • Slim build
  • Longer dark hair
  • Left-handed
  • Wearing a blue baseball cap with a logo (possibly LEVIS) on the front, a dark grey long-sleeve shirt with a dark black hoody underneath, a blue bandana with white logo, grey jogging pants and white running shoes
