Gun, money, suspected drugs seized by Barrie Police on Monday

Car with four-way flashers on and fresh damage attracted the officers attention

Barrie Police took an interest in a car on Fairview Road Monday morning that was stopped with four-way flashers on.

Officers noticed fresh damage and believed the vehicle had been in a collision. Police said the occupants started to walk away from the car as officers approached. Police said they seized a gun, money and suspected drugs. Two men from Toronto and one from Uxbridge, all in their early 20s, face weapons-related charges. The driver has also been charged with impaired.
