Half of the 415 new cases of COVID-19 in Ontario listed as a ‘reporting delay’

Testing dips below the 20,000 mark

The province reported 415 new cases of COVID-19 on Sunday. Of those, 223 were the result of a “laboratory-to-public health reporting delay.”

19 new deaths were added to the count for a total of 2,407 virus-related deaths in Ontario.

The number of tests conducted slipped below 20,000 for the first time in three days with just over 19,300 tests completed.

Of the 30,202 confirmed cases of COVID-19, 23,947 are considered to be recoveries.
