iOS 14 update has iPhone users excitedly posting to Twitter about “new” features

about features that have been on Android phones for years

If you’re an Android user, you might be slightly confused about the buzz that the new iOS 14 update has been causing on twitter, seeing as many of the features touted in the update are several years old for non-iPhone users.

Taking to twitter, iPhone enthusiasts have been sharing pictures of their home screen thanks to finally being given more freedom to customize layouts. Users also shared their excitement over the “back tap” feature, widgets, app libraries, picture in picture, and the ability to search for emojis…all features that have been available (many of them for years) on Android devices.

Better late than never?
