Lengthy Child Porn Investigation Results in Arrest of Barrie Man
Thirty-Three-year-old Man Charged
A Barrie man is facing charges in connection to a lengthy child porn investigation.
The Barrie Police Service was tipped off to the uploading of child pornography back in September of 2017, leading to an investigation that involved several search warrants. The 33-year-old suspect was tane into custody Tuesday, while several devices were seized as evidence.
The suspect faces charges of Making Child Pornography. Police say more charges include Accessing Child Pornography, Possession of Child Pornography, Distributing Child Pornography and Making Child Pornography were also laid. His first court appearance was expected Wednesday.
