Man Sought In Attempted Theft And Resell In Barrie

Police say the suspect made off with a laptop computer, iPad Pro and tried to sell the items in June

Barrie Police looking for a suspect involved in a reported laptop theft.

Police believe the man made off with a laptop computer along with an iPad Pro from a Maple Avenue business on June 16th.

Shortly afterwards Police got a tip that the individual hit a nearby business and tried to sell the stolen items.

SUSPECT DESCRIPTION

  • White man
  • Wearing a blue and white striped golf style shirt
  • Dark coloured pants that may be denim
  • Gray coloured baseball hat with black writing across the front

In surveillance photos that were obtained, the suspect is seen wearing sunglasses and in the company of a second male who was carrying a backpack and appears to have thinning brown hair and a receding hairline.
