Health officials in York Region issue a warning to residents after identifying a confirmed case of measles.
The senior had recently traveled to south-east Asia; When they returned to Canada, they developed measles.
While still infectious, they visited a Nando’s in Richmond Hill, a walk-in clinic and pharmacy and the ER of Southlake Regional Health Centre.
Visits to those locations happened between April 10th and April 14th.
Measles are most dangerous to infants under one year of age, pregnant women and people with weakened immune systems.
