The province is set to add hospital beds in Midland and Orillia.
Simcoe North MPP Jill Dunlop says as part of the announcement from Christine Elliott, the Health and Long-Term Care Minister, 192 long term beds are coming.

The bed distribution will work out as follows:
Villa Care Centre (Midland)
32 new beds, 109 existing beds to be redeveloped
Westmount Lodge (Orillia)
160 new long-term-care beds once it’s completed
The province has committed to adding 15,000 long-term-care beds within five years.
