NDP Set To Unveil Vision Ahead Of October Vote

The plan is about making life more affordable, protecting public services, fighting climate change and creating good jobs

New Democratic Party leader Jagmeet Singh will present the party’s policy vision for the upcoming election campaign.

The party is calling it A New Deal for Canada, a plan to make life more affordable, protect public services, fight climate change and create good jobs.

Singh will speak about the plan Sunday at a convention of Ontario’s provincial NDP in Hamilton.

Singh has faced questions since becoming leader in October 2017 about the state of his party, including its fundraising efforts heading into a federal election cycle.
