The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG) has decided to temporarily close all casinos across the province over concerns about COVID-19.
OLG says the “orderly shutdown” of casinos has already begun, and should be complete within 24 hours.

The decision comes on the heels of the biggest one-day increase in COVID-19 cases in Ontario. Officials confirmed 39 new cases across the province, including 2 in Simcoe Muskoka

OLG has not set a timeline for when the casinos will re-open, but has said they will advise the public when the time comes.
