Orillia OPP are appealing to the public for assistance in searching for a man that investigators say may have been spotted north of the city.
Police are attempting to locate 58-year-old Paul Whitney. He is described with a height of just over 1.93 metres (six feet, four inches), a weight of just under 100 kilograms (220 pounds), short grey hair and a grey beard.
Investigators believe that Whitney may have been walking in the area of Stockdale Road and Brennan Line in Severn sometime between Monday and Sunday.
Residents and businesses in the area are being asked to check any available video footage for possible sightings of the man.
Police say anyone with information regarding Whitney's whereabouts can call the Orillia OPP detachment and reference incident number E260688973.
