OPP investigating after man injured by gunfire in Collingwood

The victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries

A man has been treated for non-life-threatening injuries after a firearms incident in Collingwood.

Collingwood/Blue Mountains OPP say the man sought treatment locally before being transferred to Toronto for treatment.

Police have determined the injury was sustained at an apartment on Hurontario Street near Fourth Street.

It is believed to have been an isolated incident. Police say there is no concern for public safety.
