A man was airlifted holiday Monday to a trauma centre in Toronto after his vehicle left the road and crashed into a utility pole.
A 24-year-old Thornton man suffered serious injuries after being ejected from the vehicle. He is listed in serious but stable condition.
The single-vehicle crash happened around 5 pm on Sideroad 10 between the 4th and 5th Lines. Police say a vehicle was traveling at a high rate of speed prior to the crash.
That stretch of road was closed for several hours for the investigation by South Simcoe Police.
