The foundation of Studio B is ‘community’ and ‘kindness.’ The newly expanded yoga studio in Barrie began when a single mom found friendship through ‘mommy and me’ yoga classes. That mom is owner Chantal Laurin. That connection blossomed into a community of moms, which has since grown into a full-on yoga studio. True to their roots, Studio B continue to grow their mommy and me community while becoming a newly opened full service yoga studio with a class for everyone.

"We encourage growth by providing leveled classes which can help you go further than you ever thought possible while also giving you the opportunity to turn the heat down and explore within. Our focus on alignment and adjustments will provide you a better body awareness and understanding of progress in your poses."
A Judgement Free Space
Laurin says they don’t care if mom’s come in late or disrupt the class. “We offer a space free of judgment and encourage kids to be kids and understand that life sometimes gets into the way.” The Little B classes were designed for all stages of pregnancy. “We go beyond pregnancy as well. We want to help moms grow with their baby, from prenatal to postnatal yoga classes.”
Studio B: Good Vibes
Laurin says Studio B is about a community and the love they share for each other. ” It has allowed for moms to find their tribe, develop friendships and enjoy the space.”
The classes at Studio B range from BEGINNER FRIENDLY – a gentle way to begin yoga, with simple transitions and a slow pace – to POWER YOGA (BAPTISTE STYLE) – a type of hot power yoga.
