Plane Strikes Canoe on Six Mile Lake
No one hurt
Ontario Provincial Police say no one was hurt when a small float plane struck a canoe Sunday afternoon while landing on Six Mile Lake.
The couple, canoeing in Trans Canada Bay, was able to jump to safety before the plane landed around 2:30 p.m.
Witnesses, as well as the pilot of the plane, assisted the couple.
Southern Georgian Bay OPP and Transport Canada are investigating.
