Police Announce Charges In Schomberg Hit and Run
Brampton Man Charged
The OPP say a Brampton man now faces charges in connection to a fatal hit and run in April.
A 26-year-old cyclist was killed the evening of April 21st, while riding along Highway 9 on the western outskirts of Schomberg. He was struck by a vehicle that allegedly fled the scene.
A cyclist was struck and killed sometime this evening by a vehicle that failed to remain – #Hwy9 between 15th and 17th Sideroad. (near #Schomberg On)

OPP Sgt. Kerry Schmidt says a driver has since been arrested. A 33-year-old Brampton man has been charged with Fail to Remain at The Scene of a Fatal Collision.
