Police seize conducted energy weapon after collaring man accused of violating bail conditions in Wasaga Beach

Dozens of charges laid

A man who is no stranger to the law is now facing additional charges.

Earlier this month, police in Wasaga Beach began probing allegations a man was violating a number of court-ordered conditions from prior offenses. The suspect was located in the passenger seat of a vehicle on Monday, in a parking lot on Main St. in Wasaga Beach. He was taken into custody, but a search of the man allegedly turned up a prohibited conducted energy baton.

The 36-year-old man was charged with 21 counts of violating release orders along with weapons-related offenses.
