Postal code identified as hot spot area based on transmission, hospitalizations, deaths

Residents 50 years of age and older, who live in the Bradford West Gwillimbury L3Z postal code are now eligible to book a COVID-19 vaccine.

Based on ongoing high rates of COVID-19 transmission, hospitalizations, and deaths, the postal code area has been identified as a hot spot as part of a province-wide targetted vaccination approach. The L3Z postal code area was the only one identified throughout Simcoe-Muskoka in this initiative. This week, Bradford West Gwillimbury saw the highest weekly incidence rate of COVID-19 throughout Simcoe-Muskoka, for the fourth consecutive week.
