Robbery Suspect On The Loose In Barrie

Police say the suspect punched and kicked a store clerk at a Dunlop Street East business last Friday

Barrie Police want your help finding a suspect in an ongoing robbery investigation.

A man entered a Dunlop Street East business last Friday evening under the guise of possibly purchasing a mobile phone.

Police say the store clerk, as he came to assist the customer, was then punched and kicked as the person made their way around the counter.

The suspect then proceeded to steal a number of cellular mobile devices and a tablet before calmly walking out of the store.

He was last seen eastbound on Dunlop Street carrying a white plastic bag that contained the stolen property.

SUSPECT DESCRIPTION

  • Male, Black
  • 5’10” to 5’11”
  • Believed to be 25 years of age
  • Green hooded style sweatshirt
  • Black baggie pants
