In response to the legalization of recreational cannabis, numbers from the CSBC show alcohol contributes to approximately 40% of boating-related fatalities on Canadian waterways.
The council has joined forces with Muskoka Grown Limited, an Ontario licensed cannabis producer, to make boaters aware of the risks of cannabis consumption and boating.
The #Longweekend is approaching. The #OrilliaOPP will be on the water enforcing liquor, speed and safety equipment violations. Have a fun and #safe #CivicHoliday weekend.
