Search Continues For Man Stranded In Gravenhurst; Crews Unable To Revive Brampton Man

A tough weekend on the waters in Gravenhurst.

A 37 year old Brampton man couldn’t be saved after being pulled from the public beach Saturday night.

Earlier in the day emergency crews rescued a woman and a child from the waters. They were taken to a local hospital where they are expected to recover.

The search continued for an outstanding man with the assistance of the OPP Marine Unit, Aviation services and the Underwater Search and Recovery Unit (USRU).
