From September 25th to October 25th, cities all across Canada participate in Culture Days, a coast to coast celebration of arts, heritage, and culture. The City of Barrie isn’t going to miss out on the fun because they have lots of activities and online programming to highlight Barrie’s growing diversity and bustling arts community.
Along with four weeks of online and self-guided activities, Downtown will also feature Open Air Dunlop, the Pedestrinization of part of Dunlop Street. Every Saturday until October 25th, Dunlop street will be closed to vehicle traffic from Mulcaster Street to Clapperton Street so the public can bike, walk, enjoy the newly constructed streetscape, and visit all the local shops and restaurants.
