Threat made in parking lot leads to seizure of drugs and stolen property in Georgian Bay Township
45-year-old man charged
Ontario Provincial Police have recovered a stolen camper trailer and seized 450 methamphetamine tablets, cocaine and $7,045 of Canadian currency.
Southern Georgian Bay detachment officers responded June 23 to a threatening complaint in the parking lot of a strip mall on Lone Pine Road in Georgian Bay Township.
The investigation led them to a pick-up truck and camper trailer parked in the lot.
Police say the drugs and drug paraphernalia were found in the pick-up truck.
A 45-year-old Sudbury-area man has been charged with:
- Possession of a Schedule I substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine (two counts)
- Obstruct a Peace Officer
- Possession Property Obtained by Crime Over $5,000 – in Canada
- Failure to comply with release order
