Traffic stops recover stolen property in Orillia

Three men face charges after the police conducted a pair of traffic stops Thursday

Quite the stop for the OPP that leads to recovery of stolen property and a vehicle. Three men face charges and a bail hearing in Bracebridge after the police conducted a pair of traffic stops in Orillia. A 2017 Dodge Ram Laramie Longhorn vehicle was recovered after being reported stolen in Midland in September. Also recovered stolen property, break in instruments, and false licence plates.

48 year old Muskoka, Ontario and Surrey, British Columbia man

Possession of property obtained by crime over $5000
Flight while pursued by police
Possession of property obtained by crime under $5000
Operate a motor vehicle without insurance
Driving a motor vehicle while under suspension
Drive motor vehicle no plates

46 year old Gravenhurst man

Possession of property obtained by crime over $5000
Two counts of possession of property obtained by crime under $5000
Possession of break in instruments
Fail to comply with Justice of the Peace Recognizance

39 year old Erin man
