Epic North are now roasting their green beans at the new locale. “We installed everything last week, it’s nice to see our consumers come in and hear them chat about coffee and its origins,” said co-founder Angie Martin.
Angie and Chris Martin began Epic North 7 years ago as a hobby but have since expanded the business from farmers markets, to a commercial space and now the retail location downtown. “It’s so much better to be in this environment and with Homestead it makes for a nice pairing.”
Epic North offer up their fresh roast single origin coffees at the espresso bar – which is pulled from their shiny new Rocket Boxer. Pair that with freshly baked sourdough bread and other goodies Homestead are known for.
The Roaster
Epic North use a new roaster, a Diedrich IR-12. “It was handmade by the amazing team at Diedrich in Ponderay in Idaho. It’s beautiful, efficient and roasts amazing coffee, said Martin.”
