Wear, colour, and shine green for Childrens Mental Health Week
Show support by posting your colouring creations in the window
The colour green and the green ribbon are used to celebrate child and youth mental health as it represents hope, growth, and transformation.
This is why, between May 3rd- 9th, everyone in Simcoe County is asked to Shine Green for Children’s Mental Health Week.
New Path Youth & Family Services is inviting everyone to wear green and download, colour and share a free colouring page and hang them in their windows. You can share the pictures on social media using the hashtag #CMHW2020 #shinegreen and tagging New Path @NewPathYF

Elizabeth McKeeman, CEO New Path Youth & Family Services says “This is an especially challenging time for families and we hope that these activities will connect us virtually and encourage conversations about mental health at this difficult time.”
The colouring page is available to download from: www.newpath.ca/CMHW2020 .
Some local municipalities including Springwater Township will be lighting up their municipal building green and City of Barrie Councillors will be wearing green next week.
