Three people charged in Orillia drug investigation

OPP said they received numerous Crime Stoppers tips

OPP in Orillia have released details about a lengthy drug trafficking investigation during which police said they received numerous Crime Stoppers tips and complaints from the public.

Officers executed a search warrant at a north end residence on Oct 7. A quantity of cocaine, Canadian currency, and what is suspected to be counterfeit currency was seized.

The suspects, a 43 year old male, a 35 year old woman and a male youth from Orillia, have been charged with drug-related offences and possession of counterfeit money.

The adult suspects have a November court date.
