15-year-old charged in stabbings at Wasaga Beach

OPP have identified woman found dead last week in a ditch at Wasaga Beach; name not released

Ontario Provincial Police have charged a 15-year-old Wasaga Beach boy in the stabbings of two 18-year-olds in the town.

Police were called to the Main Street bridge around 11:30 p.m. on June 17 where they found two males with serious injuries. Both were taken to a local hospital; one was subsequently airlifted to a Toronto trauma centre.

The accused was arrested June 24 and charged with:

• Attempted murder – two counts
• Possession of weapon for a dangerous purpose
• Robbery
• Failure to comply with a probation order
