2021 Barrie Baycats season tickets guarantee you 18 home games despite future COVID protocols

Full refund promises should season be cancelled

While the powers that be don’t yet know exactly what the upcoming season will hold as far as COVID-19 protocols, 2021 Barrie Baycats season tickets are now on sale.

The Intercounty Baseball League team is selling season tickets online and says it will guarantee entry into all 18 home games in the upcoming season, even with capacity rules in place. “Without knowing all aspects of COVID protocols, we are limiting the number of fans entering Coates Stadium to 250 at this time,” reads a statement from the team. “These season tickets will be included in the maximum of 250.”

The team says season ticket holders will be admitted to all 18 home games up to 15 minutes prior to game time. Following that, walk up fans will be permitted through the gates. This is part of a process put in place by the team for attending Baycats home games, as it also vows to follow all provincial and local protocols entering and distancing inside the park.

Should the season be cancelled, season ticket holders are promised a full refund.

The Barrie Baycats home opener is scheduled for Thursday, June 3 at 7:30 p.m. at Coates Stadium in Barrie.
