
The 2026 Barrie Airshow, presented by Pratt Homes, will take place June 13 and 14 over beautiful Kempenfelt Bay. This year’s free, family-friendly event will feature an exciting mix of military and civilian performers, highlighted by a special twilight air display on Saturday evening and a fireworks finale.
The 2026 Barrie Airshow lineup includes the Canadian Forces Snowbirds in what will be one of their last shows flying in their iconic CT-114 Tutor jets.

- Lysander Historical Aviation
- Mike Tryggvason, including a special pyrotechnics performance on Saturday evening

- Redline Airshows, including a special pyrotechnics performance on Saturday evening, brought to you by Partners REIT
- Vintage Wings of Canada P-51 Mustang, Mk IX Spitfire, Hawker Hurricane
Airshow weekend kicks off Friday, June 12 with a free, outdoor screening of Top Gun: Maverick, presented by the Downtown Barrie Business Improvement Area (BIA) at Meridian Place starting at 9:30 p.m.
On Saturday, June 13, programming starts at 12 p.m. with a performer meet and greet at Meridian Place, military displays, family activities and vendors throughout the downtown and waterfront. Muskoka Extreme water ski show will take place at 5 p.m. on Kempenfelt Bay in front of Heritage Park. The opening address and National Anthem will begin at 5:40 p.m. (speakers will be in parks around the waterfront). The special twilight show begins at approximately 6 p.m. and will continue through sunset. Just as night falls, two aerobatic acts will soar through the sky with pyrotechnics lighting up the sky ahead of the fireworks finale at 10 p.m.
On Sunday, June 14, the event continues with a full day of airshow programming and waterfront activities starting at 10 a.m. with military displays and family activities. Muskoka Extreme water ski show will start at 12 p.m., followed by the National Anthem and opening address at 12:40 p.m. and the air display at 1 p.m.
Airshow performances depend on real-time conditions such as weather, safety requirements, and aircraft readiness. A detailed performance schedule will not be published in advance. Short operational pauses are a normal part of the show, and exact timing and the order of acts may change without notice.
