Remembering Cody: 5th Annual Golf Tournament

Helping kids and youth deal with mental health issues and anxiety

Got a tee time for next weekend?

Here’s one for you.

Kari Smith and family are presenting their fifth annual golf tournament for Cody’s House Youth Centre…in memory of her son who took his life in 2013, “We’re trying to help kids learn how to manage their anxiety and depression, and help them to be their best self. We’re going to be offering a lot of different services…such as meditation and therapy sessions, counselling.”

Smith says they hope to have Cody’s House open within a couple of years.

Cody was a bright kid with a bright future who didn’t have the proper resources.

The tournament includes a barbecue lunch and buffet dinner as well as a raffle and prizes.
