3 people injured, one of them airlifted, following Highway 400 crash south of 89

Highway 400 is closed southbound at 89

A two-vehicle collision south of Highway 89 in the southbound lanes of Highway 400 late Friday morning resulted in injuries to three people.

Provincial police say one of the vehicles rolled several times. One person in that vehicle was ejected and was airlifted to a trauma centre while a second person was taken to a local hospital.

An occupant in the other vehicle was taken to a local hospital with what police describe as "relatively minor injuries."

Highway 400 southbound at Highway 89 was closed for several hours and reopened around 5 p.m.
