There's a local music festival headed our way and unlike other events of its kind, this one won't cost you an arm and a leg to attend. From April 26th-27th the town of Orillia will come alive with entertainment and musical tunes for the 5th annual Roots North Music Festival.
During the event, headline shows will be taking place at St. Pauls Centre with 3 unique performances each night. In addition, a number of shops and restaurants will be providing live music shows for free.
The festival has kicked off announcements of their exciting lineup with confirmation that Juno-winning Canadian singer/songwriter Ron Sexsmith will be one of the headliners. More details on the lineup to come!
In between shows, guests will be encouraged to check out the on-site art market and browse merchandise from some of the featured acts. The art market will offer local handmade artisan wares from clothing, artwork, jewelry, health & beauty products, household items and more!
Tickets are $45 for a weekend pass. For more info and tickets, click here.
"Roots music can refer to several styles or genres in music, but to us it’s music that is firmly rooted in a place of honest expression and emotion. It’s music that travels, shares, and connects, while honouring the past and bravely moving forward."
