1. Little Ray's Wildlife Festival
Little Ray's Nature Centre is coming to Barrie this weekend and they're bringing some pretty neat friends with them. There will be a number of shows at Holly Recreation Centre featuring animals such as a bobcat, sloth, alligator, armadillo and more. Stop by for a unique, interactive experience!

2. Chappell Farms Spring Festival
Celebrate Easter early with the Chappell Farms Spring Festival. Candy hunts will be done every hour and you can collect as much as you like. When you’re not looking for sweets you can enjoy meeting farm animals, going on wagon rides, watching a magic show or bouncing on the jumping castle.
The festival will run from 10 am-4 pm April 13th & 14th, as well as next weekend.
3. Donaleigh's Easter Market
Another Donaleigh's Pop-up Market is back! This lineup features some familiar vendors with a few new additions. Drop by between 11 am-3 pm for good eats, "Caesar Sunday" and some great local shopping.

4. Rock Climbing
Switch things up this weekend with something new, fun and maybe a little challenging. Alt. Rock climbing gym is a great place to pencil into your weekend plans.
There is over 6000 ft. worth of climbing in the gym. Most of the climbing available is bouldering style, (no harness, ropes or partner needed) making it easy to get started. There is also a Kids Zone on-site where kids can climb safely using harnesses and auto-belays.
A full day of climbing costs just $20. Make sure to fill out your waiver online prior to your visit.

5. Art Battle Barrie
Five Points Theatre is hosting an exciting, one-of-a-kind event this Saturday, April 13th called Art Battle. And yes, it is as cool as it sounds.

Groups of artists will compete in 3 twenty-minute rounds of live painting for the chance to named Champion. Audience members will vote to determine the winner. This event is a part of the Art Battle Canada National Tournament, and the winner will 'move on' for the chance to compete nationally. For tickets, click here.
6. Comedy Night at Perplexcity
Enjoy a night of laughter in the newly renovated event space at Perplexcity. The lineup features 5 great comedians including headliner Nick Reynoldson, a regular performer across North America. Tickets are just $15!

7. Game Of Thrones Viewing Party
Season 8 is almost here! What better way to kick off the final season, than watching with friends on the big screen?
Stevenson Farms, located in Alliston, will be hosting viewing parties to watch the final 6 episodes of Game of Thrones starting this Sunday, April 14th. The events will include prediction games, prizes, special themed drinks and photo-ops on their very own “Iron Throne”. Up to 20 guests can be seated in the private theatre, where each episode will be played on a 15 foot screen. Additional seating will be available in a pub viewing area on a slightly smaller screen.
