Sweet Charity will be at Chapters on June 22nd from 10 AM to 3 PM with their dogs to share their programs! You can also mention Sweet Charity at check-out anytime on June 22nd and 15% of your purchase will be donated to support kids through training assistance dogs!

Friday Flicks

Every Friday, the Barrie Public Library hosts a free movie! This Friday's viewing starts at 6:30 PM and is a collection of shorts celebrating National Indigenous Peoples Day!

Subway Kids Fishing Day

Sign up for a free day of fun and learn how to fish! If your kids aren't into fishing don't worry, there is also a fun park, reptiles, exotic birds, and more! Bring a fishing rod with a line and hook and they'll take care of the rest!

NISH STRAVAGANZA 

The Barrie Native Friendship Centre presents the 1st Annual Nish Stravaganza! On June 21st from 4 PM to 10 PM at Meridian Place, you can enjoy a live concert and craft market celebrating Indigenous People's Day!

Community Fun Day

On June 22nd from 7:30 AM to 1 PM head over to the Barrie Free Methodist Church for the Community Fun Day, Yard Sale & BBQ! There will be shopping, a bake sale, live animals, carnival games, jumping castle, free ice cream and more!

Fill-A-Boat Food Drive

Georgian College will be at Duckworth Zehrs location for their Fill-A-Boat Food Drive! Head over and help the cause by donating a non-perishable food item. There will be signs inside the store indicating the most needed items as well!

Charity Golf Tournament

Tangle Creek will be hosting the 8th Annual Charity Golf Tournament in support of Special Olympics Barrie! There will be a scramble-style golf tournament along with prizes, games, silent auction and dinner! Have a great day on the greens and support a terrific cause!

Friday Releases

Head to the movies this weekend and check out what's hitting theatres! Thankfully you have a nice variety to choose from with 3 very different genres! Check out the Action-Thriller "Anna", the Horror reboot "Child's Play" or the always charming "Toy Story 4"!
