Speeding nearly double the limit leads to stunt driving charge for Barrie motorist

A need for speed was costly for a 55-year-old Barrie woman.

On April 3, police said they stopped a vehicle that was travelling 93 km/h in a 50 km/h zone on Yonge Street near Coxmill Road.

As a result, the woman was charged with stunt driving and speeding.

Her driver's licence was suspended for 30 days, and her vehicle was impounded for 14 days.
