
Ontario Provincial Police are seeking witnesses and dashcam footage as part of their investigation into the Scout Valley homicide.
Around 7:10 p.m. on June 2, officers were called to the Scout Valley trail in Orillia where one person was found deceased.
A 33-year-old Brampton man was arrested and charged with second degree murder.

The victim was identified as 47-year-old Justin Van Allen of Orillia, who was walking his dogs at the time of the incident.
Police are asking anyone who was in or near the Scout Valley trail on the evening of June 2 to contact investigators if they saw or recorded anything that may assist in the case, including dashcam footage.
