Barrie woman facing impaired charge following disturbance at Arrowhead Provincial Park

A Barrie woman is facing an impaired driving charge after police responded to a disturbance at Arrowhead Provincial Park in Huntsville.

Ontario Provincial Police say officers were called the campground just after midnight on Saturday following reports of a disturbance.

During the investigation, police say officers located a person believed to be involved, and they observed signs of impairment while speaking with the individual.

The 46-year-old was charged with impaired operation of a vehicle and operation while impaired with a blood alcohol concentration of 80 plus.

The accused was released from custody with an August court date.
