The dust-up at a baseball tournament at Gull Lake Park in Gravenhurst was off the field.
Provincial police attended around 5:30 Wednesday afternoon after reports that two men were arguing with families.
"The men were being inappropriate and potentially smoking in the park area near families with children," OPP said in a news release.
Police say the men didn't like being told to move along.

Eventually, they took the hint and left the area.
Police say officers located the vehicle on Muskoka Road 169 near Parkers Point Road.
As a result of an investigation, police charged a 59-year-old from Port Carling with impaired driving and driving a vehicle with cannabis readily available.
OPP would like to remind the public that there are smoking restrictions in many places, including children's parks and sporting areas.
Smoking tobacco, cannabis, or using an electronic cigarette in a prohibited place carries a fine of $250.00.
