
Ontario Provincial Police have charged a motorist with impaired driving after a vehicle left the road and slammed into a tree in a school zone in Bracebridge.
Police say the single-vehicle crash happened near an elementary school on Cedar Lane around 10:20 Tuesday morning.
A 45-year-old Bracebridge man was charged with impaired operation and two counts each of operation while prohibited and driving while suspended.
The accused has a court date in November.
