Dirt bike rider airlifted following crash in Tiny Township

OPP upgrade charges after driver dies of injuries in Highway 12 crash near Gambridge

The rider of a dirt bike was airlifted to a Toronto-area hospital following a crash on Sunday afternoon.

According to the OPP, the single-vehicle crash happened around 2:15 p.m. in the area of Tiny Concession 4 and Simcoe Road 6 in Tiny Township.

Police say witnesses told them the driver, a 37-year-old Tiny Township man, lost control and landed in the ditch.

Those witnesses offered assistance to the victim until first responders arrived.
