Teen charged with stunt driving, clocked double the speed limit in Penetanguishene

A novice teen driver is up on charges after provincial police say the motorist was clocked travelling 132 km/h in a 60 zone in Penetanguishene.

The driver was pulled over on Main Street just before one on Monday morning.

The 17-year-old has been charged with speeding, stunt driving, and failing to surrender his licence.

In addition, his vehicle has been impounded for 14-days and his licence suspended for 30-days.
